About Good Eye
Good Eye predicts where people are likely to look first in an image, and in what order. It works on photos, posters, ads, social posts and screenshots, so you can check a design quickly before it goes out.
How it works
When you add an image, our server runs machine-learning models that estimate visual attention. They weigh the things that tend to pull the eye (faces, the main subject, strong colour and contrast, dense text) and combine them into an attention heat map and a likely looking order.
Good Eye makes a prediction: a statistical estimate of first-glance attention. It isn't lab eye-tracking, and it can't tell you how one particular person will look at your image. Use it as an early signal, and test with real people when the stakes are high.

Heat map
Warmer, brighter areas are where attention is most likely to land. Cooler, dimmer areas are more likely to be overlooked.
Looking order
Numbered points (1 → 2 → 3…) show the likely order of glances, joined into a path: what catches the eye first, then second, and so on.
Attention clarity
A score from 0 to 100 for how clearly the image has one focal point. A high score means one spot dominates. A low score means attention is scattered.
Check a spot
Draw a box around your logo, headline or call to action to see how much of the attention it gets, and whether people see it early or are likely to miss it.
Compare two versions
Put two versions side by side and draw a box on either one. The box appears on both, so you can see which version gets each element noticed sooner.
What works best
Good Eye works best on one clear image at a time, such as a poster, an ad, a product shot or a page mock-up. Use the exported design at full size rather than a small thumbnail. Comparing two versions side by side is a good way to see which one has the clearer focal point.
Privacy
Your image is processed on our server and saved privately to your account history, where only you can see it. You can delete any analysis at any time. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Questions
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
Yes, to our server, which produces the result. It's then saved privately to your account history so you can come back to it. Only you can see it, and you can delete it whenever you like.
Is Good Eye free?
Your first 15 checks are free when you sign up. After that you can buy a credit pack, and those credits never expire.
Is this real eye-tracking?
No. Machine-learning models predict where people are likely to look. Treat it as a quick first check.
Which languages does it support?
English and Traditional Chinese (繁體中文). Switch between them with the button in the top bar.
Who made it?
Good Eye is made by Kinoko Studio, a creative studio in Hong Kong.
